I generally don't post serious images of myself but in absence of a muse, I became the subject of a light test.
10,327 frames later I found this technique that intrigues me. Aside from the subject, I see some strong possibilities for this light.

Used judicially it would be interesting but you would have to be conscious that the viewer would be inclinded to interpret the sitter as having a split personality or a dark side...which is it with this one?

I like the shadow (or whatever you pros call it) -- could you get the subject's significant other to stand so his (her) profile shadow (the "better half") divides the subject's face?
This is a good photo which I will look at more than once. Perhaps, one day you teach me this technique, yes?
